Camps are 8:30am - 3:00pm daily.
Lunch and snacks are provided.
$30/child/day

Creature Feature
Thursday April 5th
Ages 9 - 11
Have you ever had questions about the ocean and its inhabitants? Ever wonder what type of sea creature is Sponge Bob? Can you eat a Sea Cucumber? Students will discover the unique marine habitats of the Eastern Shore and the interesting creatures that live in them. Hands-on activities, games, and active observation of Marine Animals will round out this exciting and fascinating day! $30/child

Adventures at Sea
Friday April 6th
Ages 9 - 11
Join marine educators for a day long research cruise on Cockle Creek, a tidal creek located between the mainland and Chincoteague Island. Using scientific instruments and methods, we’ll learn about water flow, salinity, clarity, and, of course, the critters that call Cockle Creek home. Participants will take part in trawling for organisms, collecting samples, and will discover just how amazing our marshes and creeks are. $30/child

Blast off! Space Camp
Monday April 9th
Ages 9-11

Explore the wonders of the universe with the Marine Science Consortium. In this workshop, students will learn astronomy together through a series of engaging lectures, hands-on activities, games and a trip to the NASA visitor center. During the workshop students will be introduced to; the prominent star patterns of the season, the different types of celestial objects, where they are in the universe and lore and legends of the stars. $30/child
