Volunteer Work and Internships at MSC

Looking for volunteer opportunities or internships? The Marine Science Consortium (MSC), a nonprofit environmental education organization located on Wallops Island, VA, has opportunities. Volunteers will help with education programs, special events, aquarium and organism maintenance and building projects. College Summer Volunteers

Are you looking to gain valuable experience at a research field station while also building leadership skills? Research & Res. Life Volunteers will function as resident advisors while also aiding in the daily operations of the Marine Science Consortium and participating in ongoing research projects. Volunteers will be provided with housing and meals during their volunteer session and an optional additional session during which they are enrolled in a college course at the MSC.

Resident Coordinator

Early May through Mid-August

Spend the summer developing a community atmosphere through the creation of recreational and enrichment activities for college students in residence for summer courses.
